Q. Do I need an SSL certificate?
A. If you are doing e-commerce, selling products, etc. on your website, it makes customers feel more comfortable doing business with a website that uses SSL and is secure. Most customers will not do business with a company if their website is not secure.
Q. Can I purchase an SSL certificate if I do not have a Dropals hosting account?
A. Yes, anyone can buy. A Dropals hosting account is not required. You can purchase an SSL certificate for an account hosted with a different provider.
Q. Does my Dropals account require anything to install an SSL certificate?
A. You simply need a valid CSR from the web server the SSL certificate will be installed and access to an administrative email address for the domain name. The method for generating the CSR depends on the server type and control panel (if any). If you are unsure how to obtain the CSR, you can contact our Support Team for assistance or the support team for your hosting account if it is hosted elsewhere.
Q. How do I setup my SSL certificate?
A. After purchase, you will receive an email that will guide you through the SSL certificate installation process.
