In essence, CloudLinux is a virtualization platform in which users are allocated resources (called LVEs).

If a particular account receives a sudden influx of traffic or is using a lot of CPU or memory, instead of slowing down the entire server and causing it to crash, it will slow only that LVE.

This means other clients cannot hog the server resources or cause downtime.

We pre-install CloudLinux on all shared and reseller accounts at Dropals, so you don't have to configure anything.

Things you should know.

Resource Usage Statistics - cPanel displays your hosting account's resource usage in the Quick Stats section on the left hand menu. You may also click on the "Resource Usage" icon under the Logs section. These tools allow you to monitor your site's resource usage to determine whether you need to optimize it or upgrade it.

Account Isolation - During times when your site is experiencing high traffic or resource usage, our system will automatically adjust to accommodate the traffic and usage. You'll be slowed down temporarily if you go over your limits, so that no other clients' sites go down. All other clients' sites will remain fully operational.
